Dowco Education is a privately held company under the Dowco Group of Companies involved in developing programs for continuing education for construction professionals.  In 2008, Dowco Education in cooperation with the AISC launched the Steel Detailer Training Online Course.  Designed to meet the  growing needs of the construction industry and particularly to satisfy the lack of supply of educated steel detailers, the online course has since then graduated a number of individuals to an acceptable level suitable for employment. 

Dowco is committed to creating training programs focusing on the construction industry.  Since developing the Steel Detailer course in 2006, Dowco has gone on to develop online courses such as the Tekla Structures Basic Training Online Course (now available for V16) and recently launched the Connection Design Online Course for Structural Steel.
