Earlier this month, Autodesk and Tekla had announced their joint efforts in collaborating to enable better BIM workflow.

Tekla Structures and Autodesk Revit users will now benefit from this collaboration as it provides an easy to use workflow for both users.  Specific exchange files have been provided for each respective software and although the data transfer is based on the IFC Format, its functionalities are expected to extend beyond it.
